my husband andrew & I created say cheese because we love photography, we love photographing people & absolutely LOVE photographing weddings.
at say cheese we like the smiles we photograph to be REAL, so we make sure you have FUN on your wedding day - we like our images to capture the essence of who you are!
we photograph in a very NATURAL style, nothing too posed, very RELAXED with loads of candid shots so that you are comfortable & we are catching all the finer details...
our team have a huge amount of experience & enthusiasm to bring to your wedding... when you book your wedding photography you can choose the team member you would like to photograph your day & I will personally take care of you right throughout your booking, selecting photographs & designing your custom albums.

matt smith, team photographer
matt brings a vibrant & contemporary approach to photographing your wedding. studying photography in sydney, matt began his photographic career in the wollongong region. he moved to the newcastle area & has been working with the say cheese team over the last couple of years. matt is an easy going photographer who will do everything he can to ensure your day runs smoothly & is enjoyable!
juliana chow, team photographer
in addition to being a talented photographer, juliana is an absolute wiz at photoshop & she does all our digital enhancement & retouching. her photographic style is romantic & detailed due to her background in art & graphic design. after completing her design degree at uni she pursued her love of photography & weddings. juliana will fill your day with energy & humour & will strive to capture a detailed storybook of your wedding day
mark priems, team photographer
mark is our newest team member& is involved in both photography & video production having studied both in melbourne before making the move to newcastle. mark brings a cinematic eye to both photography & video production and he is an excellent filmmaker & editor. he has an unobtrusive & relaxed approach to capturing your day ~ people often remark " we didn't even know he was there ".
